4.30.22 New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus

This new moon commences eclipse season. With this first one being a solar eclipse in taurus.

THE TOWER = Unexpected change(s) will be visiting us this eclipse season. Although it is easy to get frightened when this card appears, it doesn’t necessarily have to be an upheaval. It all depends how you take it. Not to say sudden change is not challenging but sometimes that is the only way to break the “stuckness” of what no longer serves. An opportunity for the truth to come out, to gain clarity and even courage to do what is needed to cut through lies. The tower comes to us when its time to examine and question the very foundation we stand upon. Is your life built on the strength of your values and truth to expand upon?

STRENGTH + CONSCIOUSNESS = Your inner strength is needed now and this experience will teach you to grow stronger, in mind, heart and spirit. And there is a crystal clarity available right now, detached, rooted in the deep stillness that lies at the core of your being. It doesn't come from the external, it comes from within. True strength and awareness comes from knowing oneself. The Strength card urges you to ‘tame’ your animal instincts, gut reactions, and raw emotions, and channel these initial responses constructively. Now is a time when you need to be conscious of your instinctual urges and bring them into balance with the greater good. This marks a wave of new energy from the intellectual realms. You may be on the verge of a significant breakthrough or a new way of thinking that allows you to view the world with clear eyes. Or, you may have a sudden realization or conscious understanding about an issue that has been troubling you and can finally see the path ahead of you. Meditate regularly to clear away the mental chatter and make the most of this intellectual potential.

TWO OF CUPS + THE LOVERS = Including but also beyond romantic love or relationship I feel this speaks more of harmony and a universal love. About creating balance and a strong harmonious foundation to build upon and so we come full circle. What comes down must go up but with true integrity and values aligned and created upon conscious choices and actions. True love goes beyond what we know as relationships and is more relatedness. We learn to relate, to share of ourselves but we don't give ourselves away and we don't expect that of others. Harmony in all relating is built on the foundation of freedom, not of need. "When your love is not just a desire to have others or when love is not just a need. And, when love is sharing, not a beggar; when love is about ready to give – it is the giving of joy. Therefore, it is compassion, which is significantly the highest level of love."
